The Design Process

Our designers will work with you every step of the way, from the initial consultation through the design phase and selection of final materials and accessories. We will take the time to understand your vision and help you to select the right look and products from our wide range of materials to perfect your project. Our designers will ensure that you enjoy the process and that you receive the very best products, workmanship, and service.

Initial Meeting

We understand that designing and purchasing new cabinetry is one of the largest investments that you’ll make for your home. One of our qualified designers will meet with you and review your sketches and measurements while discussing your vision, using elements from our showroom displays to design the cabinet space(s) of your dreams. They will consider your specific style preferences, functional needs, and any space limitation that there are to bring your ideas to life.

From our displays you will see our superior product quality and design capabilities, as well as be able to have a hands-on experience of some of our line of custom products. Budget constraints that there are will also be discussed so a preliminary design can be created.

Design Presentation

After the initial meeting your designer will take the design elements discussed and incorporate them into a preliminary conceptual design. Together during the design presentation, you will review the set of drawings and discuss the estimate of projected costs. This initial set of ideas will evolve and be refined over ensuing communications and meetings with your designer until you are completely satisfied with the project layout.

Contract and Construction

Once all details are established, the final design, project scope and costs will be presented to you and at this point, a contract will be presented for signing. This step ensures that your project will continue to move forward in the timeframe agreed upon. A site visit will be scheduled to confirm measurements so materials can be ordered, and our talented staff can begin construction of your cabinetry in our millwork shop. Any changes after this point can cause delays and will likely incur additional costs. Timing from when the contract is signed to the final installation date is determined by material and scheduling availability, but we will do our best to work within your timelines. Your designer will review with you whether a non-refundable deposit will be required at go-ahead.

Installation

If installation is required, the finished cabinetry will be delivered to the job site the day prior to the scheduled installation to ensure that the installer can start the installation with a full day. The duration of the installation will be determined by the scope and intricacy of work required. Our installers are skilled individuals with years of experience in the industry. A final invoice will be presented after the installation is confirmed substantially complete.
